Trial Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation skills and a deep understanding of personal injury law. The Trial Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in court, preparing legal documents, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients' cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in court and during legal proceedings
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for trial
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
  • Handle motions practice and court hearings
  • Prepare and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is timely and accurate
  • Collaborate with defense counsel and other legal professionals
  • Participate in mediations and settlement conferences
  • Stay updated on changes in Texas procedure and relevant laws
Qualifications
  • Jurisdictionally licensed attorney with experience in personal injury law
  • Proven experience in litigation and trial preparation
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills
  • Familiarity with discovery processes and deposition techniques
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to advocate for clients
  • Knowledge of Texas procedure and legal standards
  • Experience in mediations and handling court hearings
