Traveling Superintendent

Position Overview
The Traveling Superintendent will oversee construction and renovation projects at various hospitality locations, primarily focusing on hotels and resorts. This role requires frequent travel to different job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a strong relationship with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise construction and renovation projects at multiple sites.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and hotel management to ensure project specifications are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
• Provide leadership and guidance to on-site teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, implementing solutions effectively.
• Prepare progress reports for stakeholders and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, preferably in hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of construction and renovation processes, particularly in hotels and resorts.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel frequently to various job sites across the country.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and interact with clients.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
