A long-established, full-service accounting firm located in the heart of Center City Philadelphia is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its team. Known for providing personalized financial guidance since 1910, the firm offers services ranging from tax and accounting to audits, financial statements, and financial planning.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, on-site position that involves a variety of accounting responsibilities. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in preparing financial statements, assisting with audits, supporting tax preparation and filing, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys providing tailored financial solutions and thrives in a professional, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements
Assist in audit processes and documentation
Support tax preparation and filing efforts
Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
Experience with tax preparation and financial reporting

Ability to work independently and collaboratively
CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus
