Sanitation Manager

Position Overview
The Sanitation Manager is responsible for overseeing the sanitation and cleanliness of the facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role involves developing sanitation procedures, conducting inspections, and managing a team to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sanitation protocols and procedures to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and OSHA regulations.
Manage and train sanitation staff to ensure effective and efficient cleaning processes.
Monitor and report on sanitation performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary.
Collaborate with food safety and quality assurance teams to address any sanitation-related issues.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of sanitation activities and compliance audits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sanitation management role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and practices.
Familiarity with FDA, USDA, and OSHA regulations pertaining to food safety and sanitation.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
