Job Title: Principal Antenna Design Engineer
Location: Albuquerque, NM (on-site)
Salary: $180,000-$200,000/year
Requirements:
1.) Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's highly preferred).
2.) 8+ years of recent professional experience with antenna design and engineering and expertise in complex antenna system design utilizing fundamental electromagnetic theory.
3.) Candidates MUST have (or be eligible to obtain) Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Antenna Design Engineer to lead our antenna design team in developing innovative antenna solutions for a variety of applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving design excellence, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the performance and quality of antenna systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of advanced antenna systems and components.
Conduct simulations and analyses to optimize antenna performance.
Collaborate with RF engineers to integrate antenna designs into larger systems.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance in antenna design best practices.
Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Stay current with advancements in antenna technology and incorporate new techniques into designs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field); Master's degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in antenna design/engineering and expertise in complex antenna system design utilizing fundamental electromagnetic theory.
Proficiency in antenna engineering principles and design methodologies.
Experience with simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, or similar software.
Strong understanding of RF, microwave, and quasi-optical antenna systems technology.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Candidates MUST have (or be eligible to obtain) Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
