Maintenance Technician

We are a key player in supplying fresh and frozen meat blends to customers globally. We have plant locations all over the US, including the Midwest and West Coast. We service customers in the food, pet, and pharmaceutical industries.

Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and systems through routine maintenance and troubleshooting. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machinery and equipment.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring problems effectively.
Adhere to safety standards and protocols while performing maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs completed.
Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and procedures.
Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting.
Ability to conduct root cause analysis for problem-solving.
Knowledge of safety standards relevant to maintenance work.
Mechanical skills with experience in repairs and maintenance of equipment.
Nice to have: Experience with HVAC systems, inventory management, project management, technical documentation, and PLC programming.
