Litigation Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense and a proven track record in handling complex litigation cases. This role involves representing clients in court, managing case files, and conducting thorough legal research to prepare for trials and hearings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in court and during legal proceedings
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and written discovery
  • Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for trial
  • Manage case files and maintain comprehensive documentation
  • Collaborate with legal team members to develop case strategies
  • Perform legal research and analysis to support case arguments
  • Attend court appearances and hearings as required
  • Prepare for trial by organizing evidence and developing case theories
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the California State Bar
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation, preferably in insurance defense
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven trial experience with a solid understanding of litigation processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a legal team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
