Litigation Associate

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Attorney to join our team at our Westwood office in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in litigation practices and a passion for providing exceptional legal services. This role will involve working on a variety of civil and commercial cases, assisting in all phases of litigation from initial discovery through trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior attorneys in managing litigation cases from inception to resolution
Conduct legal research
Draft and file motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
Prepare for and attend depositions and hearings
Conduct discovery, including document review and production
Collaborate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case status
Review and summarize depositions and other evidence for case preparation
Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness preparation

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to practice in California
3+ years of experience in litigation, with a focus in civil and commercial law
Strong understanding of litigation processes and procedures
Excellent legal research and writing skills
