Insurance Coverage Attorney

Base Salary: $110,000 - $200,000 

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and representation in insurance coverage disputes, ensuring our clients receive the best possible outcomes. This role involves evaluating coverage issues, analyzing claims, and advising on policy interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate insurance policies and coverage options to provide legal opinions and advice.
  • Conduct legal research to support coverage analysis and litigation strategies.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and mediation sessions related to insurance claims.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions, for insurance coverage disputes.
  • Prepare for trials by developing case strategies and gathering necessary documentation.
  • Counsel clients on insurance-related matters and risk assessment.
  • Review and analyze insurance claims to determine the best course of action for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding insurance practices.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage law or litigation.
  • Strong understanding of insurance policies and coverage analysis.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proven negotiation and mediation experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
