Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in partnership with stakeholders.
- Organize and manage project resources, including staff, equipment, and materials, to meet project goals.
- Examine project contracts, specifications, and drawings to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Discover cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to enhance project profitability.
- Offer leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members, including field staff, subcontractors, and support personnel.
- Generate and submit precise progress reports, invoices, and payment applications to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in heavy civil and highway road construction.
- Demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Familiarity with construction industry regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., DOT/BOA regulations).
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials are advantageous.
- Proficiency with project management software (such as Primavera and Vista Software) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
