Position Overview
We are an industrial machinery manufacturing firm serving a variety of industries-from healthcare to construction. We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various automated processes. This role requires expertise in PLC programming, HMI design, and robotics, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop control systems for automated machinery and processes.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and other control equipment.
Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate robotics into production systems.
Implement control solutions using IEC standards and industry best practices.
Conduct field service activities to install, maintain, and repair control systems.
Optimize control processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Utilize Visual Studio to develop control software and applications.
Engage in Lean Manufacturing initiatives to enhance production workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
Proven experience in PLC programming and HMI design.
Familiarity with robotics, specifically KUKA and FESTO systems.
Strong knowledge of IEC standards and compliance requirements.
Experience with Visual Studio and programming environments.
Background in Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
Ability to conduct field service operations and travel as needed.
