Position Overview
The Controller will oversee all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and regulatory compliance. This role is critical in strategic planning and financial management, providing insights through budgeting and forecasting to support the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to align financial goals with strategic objectives.
Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
Coordinate audit activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Implement cost control measures to enhance financial performance.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
Utilize ERP systems for efficient financial management and reporting.
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Develop and monitor cash flow management strategies to ensure adequate liquidity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 3 years in a management position.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a finance team.
Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
Knowledge of the solar industry is a plus.
