Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing crews, ensuring safety compliance, and driving projects to meet deadlines and budgets. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, along with a deep understanding of construction processes and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations
• Manage daily operations and provide leadership to construction teams
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and subcontractors
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during construction
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment operated

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, including earthwork, concrete, grading, and paving
• Familiarity with heavy civil construction projects such as highways, bridges, and utility installations
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or related field is preferred
• Relevant certifications in construction safety and management are a plus
