Position Overview
The Assistant Controller will play a critical role in supporting the financial management and operational efficiency of the organization. This position involves assisting the Controller in overseeing accounting processes, financial reporting, and leading business management initiatives to drive organizational growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support the Controller in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage the monthly close process, ensuring timely reporting and analysis of financial performance.
  • Oversee budgeting processes and forecast financial performance, providing insights to management for strategic decision making.
  • Assist in managing cash flow and working capital to optimize financial resources.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiencies and financial performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably with experience as a Controller or in a similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including experience with financial statements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
